FACE YOUR FEARS
Genesis 33:1
Now Jacob lifted his eyes and looked, and there, Esau was coming, and with him were four hundred men. So he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two maidservants.
Jacob had been running from his brother Esau for 20 years. But now the Lord has asked him to return to his country where his brother Esau whom he fears is still lives. For the sake of fear, he sent messengers to his brother and Esau prepared to meet Jacob which increased Jacob’s fear. He sent gifts to Esau but it did not stop him. Jacob went and prayed all night when even he met an angel of the Lord who changed his name Jacob to Israel, still, the brother ceased not from coming. Immediately after the prayers, Esau was not far from him, and he must face his fear without option.
This year determine to face any fear in your life than to flee from it. Fear will never stop chasing you until you stop running and face it.
All the promises and prophecies you have been told about your fears, the only means that you can overcome is to confront them face to face. Always, force Esau (fear) to run away from you instead, for you are the blessed one. Amen.
