Psalm 27:5
“For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”
The best thing that can happen to anyone is to find a safe place to hide when someone or something is chasing you. Both spiritual and physical challenges in life that are causing us to run never cease to chase us regardless of one’s social class. It is not how fast you run that makes you safe but where you are running into.
In your troubled times, the psalmist is directing you to the safe ground. And that is in God’s presence; by trusting Him for your safety. Then, according to His Word, He will keep you safe in His sacred dwelling shelter, where no one can penetrate. And set you high upon a rock where no one can reach you. Only your faith in God can always keep you safe in all your troubles. Amen.
